Center-Based Behavior Technician & Center-Based Behavior Technician - Severe Behavior Treatment Program (SBTP)

Evoke Behavioral Health is owned and operated in Colorado and provides high-quality center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2 - 12 (Denver South location) and 8-18 (Denver North location/SBTP) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), and co-occurring diagnoses.


Evoke Behavioral Health's new Severe Behavior Treatment Program (SBTP) will build on the current services offered to serve individuals ages 8-18 who engage in challenging behavior and may be at risk of being placed in a residential or inpatient facility. The SBTP aims to keep children in their home and community safely by implementing evidence-based interventions to reduce challenging behavior and teach the appropriate replacement skills through effective ABA interventions.


We provide consistent hours, on-site support from supervising BCBAs, and the ability to get to know and work closely with your colleagues. This is the perfect position for recent Psychology or Sociology graduates looking for hands-on experience in the field. Evoke Behavioral Health is accredited as a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). Excellent!

Job Duties Include:

  • Providing 1:1, 2:1, and Group ABA therapy to children ages 2-12 or 8-18

  • Electronic data collection via CentralReach

  • Completing daily session notes

  • Receiving on-going feedback from supervising BCBAs

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living as needed

  • Attending company trainings as required

  • Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans

  • An ability to adapt

  • A desire to learn

  • Physical requirements: Must be able to lift, push or pull 25-50 pounds, the ability to use and operate personal protective equipment as needed, the ability to move and traverse through a 2-story building, the ability to position self to retrieve materials in high or low locations that may or may not require a step ladder.

Required Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma or higher

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification

  • Ability to pass a state and federal background check

  • Experience working with children or working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to pass a physical exam

  • Recent TB test (within the past 2 years)

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Current RBT, BCAT, or ABAT certification

  • Previous experience working with children with disabilities

  • Current Safety Care certification

  • Experience with CentralReach

  • Fluent Spanish and Arabic speakers are encouraged to apply!
